We have all heard the phrase, “Words have power,” but do we really use this power mindfully?

It’s common to hear ourselves say, “Oh God, please, I want this so badly! Whatever it takes, please make this happen!” We often resort to desperate pleas, stating, “By hook or crook, I will get this done; I need this.” When fear takes over, we utter phrases like, “God, please don’t let this happen,” and so on.

Now, take a moment to calm your thoughts and observe: is the energy behind these statements high or low? It’s often low! You may be attempting to manifest something, but are the words you use truly supporting this manifestation? Then you wonder why your manifestations aren’t coming true, thinking, “God doesn’t listen to my prayers!”

For example, if someone says, “I want this so badly,” the entire process can lead that person to feel bad, either directly or indirectly.

Another example: “Nothing comes easy; life is hard.” Even if something could come easily, believing in and repeating these words will only lead you to manifest challenges. You might find yourself constantly complaining without realizing that you are the one manifesting these difficulties.

Why can’t we say, “I want this happily”? Embracing the belief that “Everything comes easily, and God always listens to me” can make a significant difference. A simple change in wording can transform so much in our lives. We all have power, but often we don’t use it!

Be mindful and harness your power.
